Cedric Chehab is the Global Head of Country Risk at Fitch Solutions where he helps ensure the coherence of global macro and country risk strategy. Currently based in Singapore, Cedric previously served as Head of Asia Research, where he was responsible for all Asia-based country risk analysis and industry research. Before that he was Head of Americas Research, based in New York. From 2008 to 2010, Cedric worked in London as Head of Commodities Research and Strategy. He has also worked in management consulting at Accenture. Cedric holds an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Essex.

Yoel specializes in domestic political and social transformation, regional security risks, great power rivalry, and long-term forecasting. Yoel has a Bachelor’s degree in geography from Oxford University, and a Master’s degree in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has worked at Fitch Solutions since 2003.

Mark Rosenberg is a political economist and founder/co-head of GeoQuant, which was acquired by Fitch Group in 2022. He received his PhD from UC Berkeley, where he was a National Science Foundation (NSF) Fellow and specialized in game theory and African politics. After Berkeley, he joined the political risk firm Eurasia Group (EG), where he was the Director of Africa, Comparative Analytics and Research Management. Mark also led product development at EG; he created the firm’s Political Trajectories and helped create its Political Risk Country Portfolio asset allocation model. Prior to this, Mark worked at the global human rights organization Freedom House, where he helped build their highly regarded democracy index and edited the flagship Freedom in the World publication. Mark teaches political risk analysis as an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and has written and spoken widely on country and geopolitical risks. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.

Matt Sechovsky is a Associate Director, Political Risk. He is based in the London office and covers political risks with a focus on the EMEA. Matt joined Fitch Solutions in 2019, having previously worked as a Senior Europe Analyst in consulting. He holds a BSc in International Relations and Economics from the University of Economics in Prague, and an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King's College London.

Sandra Chow became Co-Head of Asia-Pacific Research in 2021 and is responsible for guiding the region’s research output, with a focus on corporate credit issuers and thematic research. She has over 18 years of experience in credit research and has analysed high yield, distressed and investment grade credits across a variety of sectors in Asia, Europe and North America.

Sandra joined CreditSights in 2011 and served as Head of Asia-Pacific from 2017-2020, guiding the firm’s Asian business and regional strategy. She stepped down from the role in 2020 to spend more time with her family. Prior to joining CreditSights, Sandra was a director in Barclays Capital’s Asian credit research team, covering North Asian corporates. She has also worked in Singapore as a high yield analyst at Credit Suisse and a high yield and distressed debt analyst at UBS Principal Finance. Sandra began her career at JPMorgan in London, working in the European real estate M&A division and later in the bank’s European credit research team.

Nneka Chike-Obi joined Fitch in 2020 and manages the APAC ESG Research team. She is based in Hong Kong and covers a range of cross-sector thematic ESG topics with a particular interest in emerging markets, natural resources, and sustainable bonds.

Before joining Fitch, Nneka worked in emerging markets’ impact investing and private equity at Acorus Capital in Hong Kong and AgDevCo in London, focusing on the natural resources and industrial sectors in sub-Saharan Africa. She previously worked as a commodities analyst at ICAP and Barclays Investment Bank.

Nneka has an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics and a B.A. from Stanford University.

Prior to joining Chubb in February 2002 Steve had over 12 years as an international banker with exposure to a wide range of industry sectors and geographies but with a specific focus on Trade, Project Finance and Investment in Emerging Markets.

Steve has been working with global financial markets for almost 32 years and with Emerging Markets specifically for 28 years. He has wide experience of assessing country, corporate and banking risks across the globe. The only continent he has not had direct experience of risk assessment or business development is Antarctica!

Steve is responsible for the development of Chubb’s Political Risk & Credit division’s strategy and business planning in Asia and for all of their country & credit risk management infrastructure and analysis: from counterparty limits, through country risk rating models to portfolio management and capital at risk modelling.

Steve has a Masters in Modern History with Middle Eastern Politics and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has been based in Singapore since May 2014.

Winnie is the Global Head of Strategy at CreditSights. Prior to joining CreditSights, Winnie was a Managing Director and the Head of Credit Strategy for Wells Fargo, leading the research teams focused on the corporate investment grade and leveraged finance markets. At Wells Fargo, Winnie developed the leveraged finance strategy product, rolling out coverage on high yield, leveraged loans and the distressed market. With more than 10 years of experience in institutional research, Winnie has emerged as one of the leading voices in corporate credit strategy and is a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, NPR and Yahoo Finance. Winnie began her career in investment banking, covering energy and power companies. She also spent time in high yield research, focused on health care, and high yield trading.

Winnie graduated from Emory College with a B.A. in International Studies and completed her JD/MBA at the Emory School of Law and Goizueta Business School. Winnie is a member of the North Carolina and Illinois Bar Associations. Winnie was selected as one of Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and was one of 12 women invited to participate in Bloomberg’s New Voices program.

Drew is Vice President, Office of the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining HOOPP, Drew worked in Private and Capital markets at OPTrust, focusing on private equity and infrastructure portfolio construction and transaction diligence and on building out an internal FX and Fundamental Macro Strategies desk. In 2015, he was part of a team that conducted a year-long review of internal investment strategy, structure and operations and subsequently developed and implemented a new investment framework for the pension plan.

Drew has also been a Principal with Bulldog Capital Partners, a Toronto-based merchant bank, and held advisory roles with the Long Term Stock Exchange, a San Francisco-based national securities exchange, and the Global Risk Institute’s National Pension Hub. Before joining the pension industry, Drew was with London-based BMI Research, where he held various roles within the Global and Asian investment strategy teams. Drew earned a BA from Queen’s University and an MSc from the University of Edinburgh.
