World of Worries: Political Risks in 2023
Fitch Solutions welcomes you to our annual World of Worries which will be held as two virtual events.
We warmly invite you to join us for our annual Fitch Solutions World of Worries. These two-hour virtual sessions will discuss short- and long-term political and geopolitical risk.
The global economy is reeling from three major shocks in quick succession – the global trade war, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine – which, taken together, have triggered arguably the most economically disruptive period since World War II. Other political and geopolitical risks are also very much at work.
Over the course of the sessions, we will discuss short- and long-term political and geopolitical risks, outlining how the fall-out from the Russia-Ukraine war and other factors will exacerbate pre-existing domestic tensions in many countries, while sustaining the trend of deglobalisation and pushing the world’s major powers towards a more confrontational path.
Similar to previous years, the event will include live presentations followed by Q&A and panel discussions led by Fitch Solutions' country risk and political risk experts. This year, we wanted to make our virtual event accessible to all our clients globally, so we will be running 2 separate sessions, allowing you to choose the time that works best for you.
